Helen Slade, Executive Director
Founding member and executive director of Territory NFP. Helen is a licensed architect, public art organizer, curator and educator.
Tiffany Werner, Treasurer
Field Organizer with the Environmental Law and Policy Center, empowering Chicago residents to learn more about what is in the air around them.
Territory alumna with an Associate’s Degree in General Studies at Harold Washington College. Suri is applying to Bachelor’s Degree programs in the Chicago area.
Helen is the Principal of the Fine Arts Center, Greenville County Schools. Past work includes arts administrator, artist, and arts educator at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Previous roles include manager of the Advanced Arts Program at Gallery 37 for Chicago Public Schools.
Alejandra was the Office Manager at Eighteenth Street Development Corporation, where she fulfilled her lifelong dream of giving back to her community through providing resources for local businesses. She has recently returned to Chicago from a year abroad and is applying to MBA programs at Chicago-area universities.

Technical consultant with 8 years of large consulting firms and start-up experience. While living in New York City, Sharad was part of the Education Leadership Council which specialized in advocating higher education to at-risk high school students in the Northeast area.
Vera is a residential architectural designer with an emphasis on sustainable building practices. Prior to managing residential housing projects, Vera was a consultant specializing in program development, outcome and evaluation modeling, and grant procurement for community-based organizations.
Stephanie Kopa, Secretary
A seasoned business professional with over ten years of experience in strategy, analytics, marketing, people management, and leadership development, Stephanie has been coaching, developing, and mentoring others through her work at the University of Chicago Booth School and now with Bain & Company.
Executive Director, Jane Addams Resource Corporation (JARC). JARC provides training programs targeting strategic skills gaps in the manufacturing sector. Recognition includes Fellowship in Strategic Perspectives in Non-Profit Management, Harvard Business School, 2013.
Rashmi Ramaswamy, Program Director
Architect and co-founder of SHED Studio, a mission-driven architectural & sustainable design collaborative. Founding member of Territory, educator, non-profit board consultant, and practitioner, currently working in Chicago and Boston.
