Sharad is a technical consultant with 8 years of large consulting firms and start-up experience.  He was part of the Education Leadership Council in New York which specialized in advocating higher education to at-risk high school students in the Northeast area.

Aviv Shalgi, Board Treasurer

Aviv is a graduate of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and alumnus of the Booth Net Impact Board Fellows program. He is a partner, and head of business development for Dormigo, a property management solution for short-term rentals, recently purchased by Stay Alfred.

Daniel Cervantes

Daniel is a founding senior member and current Senior Vice President of Programs for Skills for Chicagoland’s Future. In his role, he is responsible for overall strategy and management of the delivery of Skills’ programs and services for job seekers, including direct placements, youth focused programs, delivery of replication consulting services, and incubation of new pilot projects.

Vera Douma

Vera is a residential architectural designer with an emphasis on sustainable building practices. Prior to managing residential housing projects, Vera was a consultant specializing in program development, outcome and evaluation modeling, and grant procurement for community-based organizations.

Suri Hernandez

Territory alumna with an Associate’s Degree in General Studies at Harold Washington College. She is a design team facilitator with Territory’s intro design studio programs, and an account representative for State Farm.

Katanya Raby

Katanya is a south side native and an alum of the Chicago Public Schools. She is an urban planner, civic activist, designer, racial equity advocate, youth educator, artist, and much more. She is currently a Policy Advisor, Office of the Mayor of the City of Chicago.

Lesley Roth

Lesley is an Associate Principal at RATIO, an active member of the Congress for New Urbanism and an adjunct professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology’s Department of Architecture. Her practice puts an emphasis on public engagement, livable communities and sustainable design. She is the founder of Englewood Brews, and an avid participant in the craft beer industry.

Helen Tsatsos

Helen Slade, Executive Director

Founding member and executive director of Territory NFP. Helen is responsible for strategic initiatives, partnerships, fundraising, marketing, and program frameworks for Territory NFP. She collaborates closely with Territory’s board of directors and community partners to develop young leaders. As a licensed architect, Helen manages all of Territory’s design studio commissions.
